almost LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!

IT'S ALMOST THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! OUR VACATION IS COMING UP!! I HOPE EVERYONE WILL HAVE A AWESOME AT WHATEVER THEY ARE DOING!!!! A FEW MORE DAYS 'TILL WE BE 5TH GRADERS!! WHOO HOO!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I THINK I'M GONNA EXPLODE!!!!!!!!! And almost untill we go to the water park!! I hope we will have good weather and a waterific time!!!!

Pulau Payar

The snorkleing trip

Fourth graders went to Pulau Payar to go snorkeling.It was very fun. We had to be here at school at 7:15.Then we had a 2 hour boat ride. When we got there we snokel. Next we ate lunch.After lunch we went shark feeding. When we got back to the spot we snorkeled more. We had to leave on the 2 hour boat ride back. That is what happened.

My Birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday! My birthday was in May 1st. On Wednesday, I had a birthday party. It was really fun! My mom and my friend's mom help me to make the water balloons. The boys wanted to get all of the balloons but the girls hid it really carefully. The boys can't find it. Anyway, we still had a fun time.

We are having big test called the Iowa test. It is not hard. It is five days long. The Iowa test is not hard not hard at all. It is easy because I learned all this stuff over the year.

In Language Arts, we are learning about different types of poems. Tonight, we are having a Poetry Evening. In our poetry Evening, we say one poem, say other poems in a group, and we show our parents all our poems that we have created with our creative minds!

Today in April 8,2008,everyone at the end were working on their worksheets,well not all of them I think.We had to finish the ones we didn't do before,if you did it all you had to put it in the expandables.I finished my stuff just in time to write this down.It took quite a long time to do it.Well,it was fun and i enjoyed it.Reader, I have to to centers,BYe bye.

On Thursday, We had a battle with questions about books.There were 3 rounds .I was in the finalround.We had lots of fun.

Today for centers we got to stuff Easter egg that we made a long time ago. Two people had to start painting them. Most people had to finish their float. after that we could draw.

B.O.B floats

Today we worked on our floats for Battle of the Books. We are working hard. It is sort of hard but we made through it. Some finished some did not but I know that we are going to pull through it and make them awesome!! ;)

BOOK REPORT

Now we got literature circle book report. It was making a book jacket. I thought it will be hard but now, I think I could do it.My book was `The flunking of Joshua T.Bates`. It isso fur to finish. Good luck Hyeon-Gyu.

No Thumbs!!

In centers we are doing a science experiment in how much we need our thumbs. Trust me it is SO much harder without them. Also In science we are learning about your 5 senses it is cool. I hope you say I NEED MY THUMBS because you really need them!!!

M.E.W.

For the last three days we had M.E.W. I think Mr. and Mrs. Case did a great job. It's so sad that they will leave next year. I hope they will have a great time. I wonder if they're going to come back. I hope they will have a great time. In M.E.W. we learned about Utet and the Mulsis. I really enjoyed the story of the Mulsis. Today we had an author come in our class. His name was Paul Young, and he wrote the book called The Shack. He talked to us about his book and why he wrote it and what inspired him to write it. He told us how you can write a good book. Ms.Bodley even read a little paragraph and it had a lot of describing words. She read it because we are learning about descriptive paragraph's. It was really fun to have him here!

Today we had PE. We ran four laps outside. Then we played badminten. Then we came back to class and did centers.

We wrote persuasive letters.Persuasive means like you are trying to force the other person to agree with you.It was fun!We read it to each other.You can try to write one too!I tried to persuave to make pizzas!When you write one, write good words!You can use a Thesaurus.Good luck!

Cub Scouts

All the Webelos will be learing how to make a fire next week and will be making one and roasting marshmellows on it. We learned some rules first and some things we will apply, like clearing an area of ten feet from the fire.

Bible

In bible, we learned about God,Jesus, and Holy Spirit.
We did a little game too.
Our class learned that how the Holy Spirit helped us to understand about our God.
I like our school because we learn about God.

At the end of school, we made a decoration for a heart shaped cookie.I put lots of icing on it.

Hey everybody! It'll be Valentine's Day soon. Are any of you excited? I would really like to bake heart-shaped cookies... but my mom dosn't have any time to do it with me. I have always liked putting candies on to the small cards my mom helps me with. This year I would like to send some to my cousins like they did to last year.

Battle of the Books

Our school going have a Battle of the books. It is really fun. You get to read books and the teache are going to give us questins about the book you have read. Our class are going to make group but we are not alloud to pick who we what to be with. The teacher are going to pick who is going with who. I hope I read lots of books so that I can win the Battle of the books. I hope I am with my best friends Jamie ,and Peter. I hope you and me have a very happy new year.

Back to school !

Today in math we are doing some reviews in our text book because tomarrow we are going to have a math test!!I love math!Yesterday, we had a grammer test on dirrerent kind of sentences.We are also doing a project on Indains.We only have 1 week to finish the project.

A sort of normal day in the 4th grade

Today is Kassy's birthday!!! We wrote a new social studies page about the gold fever where everyone went to find their fortune. We played kickball at P.E it was fun but a student got hurt. At math we studied about probability.

My Holiday

On my holiday I went to K.L. I was there to study and I think it was a good sucess. I hope I can study better then before. I have stayed in K.L. for three weeks. I learned some English and more. I had to homestay with my mother's friend. She has two daughters. But other people homestayed there to. in total there were about 14. While I homestayed I was the youngest. I really missed my mother and father. I went with my brother. I hope my holiday would help me.

2nd cemester

On tuesday we started school again!The first day my mom {Mrs.Parsons}was sick. But she's back today{Wednesday}.In L.A we are learnins about different sentences and what there called.So far school has been really fun!I had a great Christmas vacation and I hope you did too,all of my classmates did.On the first day back we wrote in our journals what we did on vacation.
