A life in Penang

My name is Sunny! I lived in couple of contrys. I have been to Canada, America, Korea, Singapore and France. I have been to more contrys but right now will talk about my life in Penang. I am almost 10 years old because my birthday is in November 18. I was born in Canada. I have one older brother named Joseph. I go to school in Dalat International school.

Chardin's birthday

Today is Chardin's birthday. Actualy the thirtieth of September is his real birth- day, but we're celebrating today because his birthday is sunday and today is Friday. The principal came in to wish Chardin a good birthday.Chardin is really embarrassed.

Treasure Hunt

Today in Social Studies we had a little treasure hunt.We had to use the directions we learned about this year.We got into groups and made directions and where to hide a piece of paper.There was a yellow,a blue,and a white group.I was on the blue group.We could hide it anywhere on campus,even lower campus!We wrote our directions and decided where to put the "treasure" and then the teachers hid it where we told them to hide it.When we went out to find the "treasure" we had to use the cardinal and intermidiate directions to find the "treasure".It was so fun to hide and find the "treasure"!That's what we did in Social Studies today!

Comics

We did comics!
We did comics about the day with dad.
It was fun!It really look liked a comic!
Then we made garfield comics.
We did it in the computer.
My story is about this:
John went to Odie,He thougt it was Garfield,
but Garfield was in the house.
You should try.Its fun,I'm telling you.

Socials Test

Today (September 25,2007) we had a social studies test.It was easy and I (Zach) was the second to finish(Caleb was first).We also started to read our new book,it's about when the Nazi's took over Denmark,it sounds exciting.That's all I have to say today!!

We are reading a new book called Number the Stars. It is about a two familys in world war II.

Scouts

In boy scouts we each got a boat.On November the 19 we will have a boat race.We will have so much fun.Later we will have a pinewood Derby race.We will have so much fun again.

Math Test

September 19,2007

Today we have a math test. Everyone was doing great. There were all kinds of math questions. I hope everyone did a good job. There were 22 questions. There were division and multiplications. It was kind of fun and kind of hard.

snakes

I love snakes.Snakes are my second favorite animal.My first favorite is the chip monck. I like snakes because they are cool and they are dangerous.My favorite snake is the Anaconda.It is my favorite because it is the biggest and it is the strongest.It can grow to twenty nine feet long and weigh up to six hundered pounds!It can eat prey as big as crocodiles and jaguars!That is all the interesting facts I know about the Anaconda.

FORTH GRADE NOTHING

We have been reading The forth grade nothing.We are now on chapter eight:The TV STAR.It is about a boy named Peter and his little brother,fudge.They get into a LOT of trouble.

Geo terms maps and stories

We made some maps of imaginary islands that had all the geographical terms we learned so far and my favorate one was ELVIS PIG ISLAND that me and Chardin made.We also made stories of some other place.That also included mine,the search for Grampa Peel.

What happend in Gr.4

Today, we've been learning about maps in Social Studies.In math, we learn about remainder.It is so fun!In language art, we did The Tale of the Forth Nothing .I like the math the bast!

Open House

Dalat has a open house onse a year. Open Huose is when all the parents are invited to come look at our classrooms and see what we did in school. If all the parents come to our classroom, we have a pizza party. This year the 3rd, 2nd, grade and kindergarden won.

Fun Grade 4

Grade4 is very fun!

Oranges As Maps

Today we each table got a orange. We took our orange and drue three contunits on
it.We trid to only get orangs out. Then we trid to flatin it out. And that is about it.

I it's great to be a grade 4

I was great when I am a grade 4.We got to see new suff.Play new suff.I like to play with my friend because it's fun to play with them.I like to go home too.My best friend is Peter Lee, Jamie Ha.I like to eat with my friends.We are the friendships.

1 week ago we started to do our islands it tured out to be beautiful all of us done a fantastic job when we were finish the next day grade tree came to see our islands i think they like it alot. grade for had 3 new people named Sunny,Zach,and Hyeon gyu. we have been doing alot of math since we started school.
